Dr. Mazar Shuaipaj DDS

Dr. Mazar Shuaipaj graduated with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loyola University of Chicago College of Dental Surgery in 1991. He is a lifelong avid seeker of knowledge and pursues hundreds of hours of continuing education yearly with special emphasis on aesthetic and restorative dentistry.

Dr. Mazar Shuaipaj is a member of many professional organizations including the American Dental Association, the Illinois Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Continuing Education and Professional Memberships

Dr. Macias-Serna is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Hispanic Dental Association and the Illinois State Dental Society. She is currently working toward Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD).

Dr. Macias is fluent in English and Spanish. She loves to work with the Hispanic community because she identifies with them and she wants to reduce some of the health disparities that existing within her community due to the language barrier.

Life & Hobbies

“When I am not practicing dentistry, I love to spend time with my beautiful twins, Alexander and Cassandra and my supportive husband, Francisco. We love to play sports such as soccer and volleyball. Also, we love to ride our bicycles every time the weather permits. I also love to spend quality time with my mother and siblings who are very close to me.

Martha

Hello! my name is Martha. I have been working at this practice for about 20 years. I know what your thinking and yes that is a long time. However it has been truly a pleasure working here and I wouldn’t leave for anything. My job is making sure my incredible patients leave with a great/ clean smile and a better understanding of their oral hygiene needs. Outside of work, I love to watch movies and go shopping with family and friends.

Hello, my name is Elizabeth. I have been working in the dental field for about 4 years. Just over a year ago I decided to join Alsip Dental Center! I could not have asked for a better dental family. My job here is to help make everyone’s smile look perfect. I am currently working as a full-time chair side assistant to Doctor. I am bilingual in Spanish and English, i am super friendly and very easy going. My favorite thing to do outside of work is going to the movies and spending quality time with my family!

My name is Melissa. I am a dental assistant for Dr. Mazar. I have been assisting for Dr. Mazar for more than 15 years. I really wouldn’t want to work with anybody else or do anything different. I truly believe this has been the best 15 years of my life. I have a 4 year old son and he is my world and my reason for everything I do. My absolute most favorite to do to unwind are jigsaw puzzles. I LOVE to cut a rug every now and then too.
